US-MO-Neosho: Wind TeEchnology Instructor
Crowder College and the Missouri Alternative and Renewable Energy Technology Center (MARET) are expanding the Alternative Energy Department. The construction of the new MARET Center will begin in the summer of 2009. We are looking for innovative individuals who want to be part of a program that has over 25 years of history in Alternative Energy Education and is continuing to grow and flourish. This is a full-time nine-month faculty position with full benefits, starting Fall 2009.Teach wind technology courses, electronics, introductory hydraulics, and PLC courses; provide assistance in design, implementation and evaluation of the wind program curriculum; assist with recruitment and job placement and the annual E-conference. Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s and/or Associate’s with related work experience acceptable. Requires experience in maintaining and repairing wind turbine equipment and systems; knowledge of electronics, PLCs, safety procedures, and EPA regulations. Teaching experience preferred.
Additional Information: Salary: $35,000.00 to $45,000.00 USD Per Year
